Measurement of electrical wave currents

By working with Sohre Turbomachinery, we have experienced personnel available to conduct comprehensive on-site surveys to identify areas of potential concern and risk. In return, we provide our recommendations and expertise on smooth machine operation to mitigate current and future problems by determining if electromagnetic or electrostatic sources are present.

The picture shows typical damage that can occur to machine parts under high voltages and currents. Corrugations, pitting, spark marks and matting of the surface are evidence of the destruction that can take place inside your machine.

Loss of material will eventually lead to radial or axial movement, incorrect information on your proximity sensors and increased temperature or vibration. Before you have to stop the operation of the system and incur high follow-up costs due to the replacement of parts, you should get to the root of the problem by consulting experienced technicians sooner rather than later.
