Stray field demagnetizers with flux-regulating cores are ideal for demagnetizing a wide variety of materials. They are often referred to as plate, table or surface demagnetizers and are particularly suitable for flat objects. Demagnetization is carried out by a stray field that is generated via the core. Two pole plates serve as flux amplification cores, whereby the stray flux is optimally bundled in the area of the pole gap.

How does the stray field technology work?

The magnetic stray field refers to the field component that occurs on the outside of a coil or a flux-conducting material. The strength of the stray field decreases significantly with increasing distance from the field source. Thanks to this property, stray field demagnetizers are particularly efficient when demagnetizing flat objects with thin walls.

However, the stray field principle is only suitable to a limited extent for larger, bulky components, as the full magnetic flux of such components cannot be completely captured.

Standard demagnetizing yokes

Our demagnetizing yokes (without pole plates) offer an effective width of 160 mm to 600 mm. Other dimensions are also available on request to meet individual requirements.

The demagnetizing yokes can be easily connected to the standard mains frequency: 230 VAC or 400 VAC at 50/60 Hz. This simple and flexible installation makes them ideal for use in various industrial applications.

LM power modules: Extended range of functions for controlled demagnetization

The LM power modules extend the range of functions of a standard demagnetizer to the level of a controlled system. These modules offer a wide range of applications and ensure maximum safety and efficiency.

Manual operation: safe and user-friendly

In pulse mode, demagnetization is performed by simply placing the object on the yoke coil and pressing the pulse button on the power module. You benefit from several advantages:

  • Safe personal protection: the pulse function prevents direct contact with the objects during demagnetization, minimizing electromagnetic fields.
  • Programmable pulses: Demagnetizing pulses can be set so that they fall well below the personal protection limits - a major advantage over conventional 50 Hz mains frequency yokes.
